Lebara and Momac deliver multi lingual portals across 5 territories

London, December 21th 2010: Following the success of the UK portal, launched in April, MoMac today announced the launch of 5 new portals for Lebara Mobile, the multinational MVNO.

Lebara needed a solution to further strengthen its relationship with its customer base on mobile. MoMac’s flexible cloud based platform allowed them to create intelligent portals which are presented in the language of the user, irrespective of which territory they are in at the time.

Lebara clearly saw the added-value brought by a user-centric mobile portal that could present a valuable set of information and services to its customer base. The mobile portals allow Lebara users to have quick and convenient access to the mobile web including news, social networks, premium downloads and more from their home country, in a choice of different languages.

The new portals have been launched in Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Australia and Switzerland.

And introduce new languages and features:

  • New portals support English, Dutch, Spanish, Danish, Chinese, Filipino, German, French, Hindi, Italian, Malaysian, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Russian, and Vietnamese!
  • A tariff checker that give migrant users a transparent information of Lebara rates depending on the current country

In an increasingly competitive market, operator portals need to be more than just download stores or e-news kiosks. Operators have the opportunity to offer relevant, personalised portals, which add real value to users by leveraging CRM and subscriber data. One of the key elements of this project was the integration of MoMac’s cloud platform into Lebara’s APIs to provide site personalisation. For instance, language is automatically displayed based on the network and country detection. And thanks to MoMac’s platform the portal is optimized on-the-fly for more than 6000 devices. And growing!
