Presentation Will Detail First-Hand Experience of Capturing and Analyzing Actual Utilization and the Resulting Efficiency and Cost-Saving Benefits
FRAMINGHAM, Massachusetts, April 27, 2011—PeopleCube, provider of intelligent workplace management technology, today announced that its president and CEO, John T. Anderson, will join forces with Dr. Phil Knutel, executive director of academic technology, the library, and online learning for Bentley University, to present “Demystifying Space Management: Business Benefits of Repurposing Space Based on Actual Utilization” during the CoreNet Global Chicago Midwest Summit, to be held May 1-3, 2011, at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
The presentation—a SNAP Session scheduled for Monday, May 2, at 11:00 AM–will showcase how capturing actual space utilization leads to significant increases in organizational efficiency and spatial utilization without incurring additional operational costs. Anderson and Knutel will outline the economic and organizational value of capturing and analyzing how rooms and resources are utilized, using Bentley University’s experience as a case study.
“Whether in a corporate or educational setting, understanding exactly how space is being utilized can have a significant impact on improving the overall efficiency of the organization,” said Anderson. “Our presentation will highlight the challenges organizations face regarding underutilized real estate and how organizations such as Bentley University have been able to leverage their own space utilization analysis to dramatically increase efficiency and spatial utilization.”
