PEOPLECUBE

FRAMINGHAM, Massachusetts—November 9, 2011——PeopleCube, provider of intelligent workplace, resource, and energy management technology, today announced that George Washington University School of Business—one of the United States’ leading business schools—has successfully deployed the intelligent workspace management solution Resource Scheduler to achieve efficient scheduling and management of its room reservations in a maintenance-free hosted software environment.

“Resource Scheduler is fast, accurate, and user friendly,” said Mary Chang, Administrative director for the GW School of Business. “This amazing system has provided real-time information for all those in our organization, thus providing piece of mind through accurate information about reservations.”

A Positive Past Proves Precedent

GW School of Business first became familiar with PeopleCube’s high standard of product quality and customer service when using a PeopleCube scheduling product tailored to accommodate fewer users than the number who required access in 2011. Accordingly, when the school sought a system that would improve the efficiency of room scheduling and service requests without significantly increasing costs, it chose to include PeopleCube among the several vendors evaluated.

Ultimately, the school determined that Resource Scheduler scaled to the number of users they required, offered the advanced scheduling capabilities it needed, and, importantly, made them available in an affordable and flexible on-demand hosting environment.

Quick Results at a Low Incremental Cost

According to Chang, within just a few months of implementation, GW School of Business had already noticed a significant improvement in scheduling efficiency and user adoption. She estimated that there was a 99 percent improvement in user satisfaction among those included in the system upgrade.

Administrators quickly adopted Resource Scheduler because of its simple interface. While the system’s expanded scheduling capabilities made it faster for them to complete reservations. The school also found that the increased number of users who now book reservations directly, in conjunction with the automated reservation confirmation notifications they receive, has nearly eliminated the inefficiency of processing reservation requests manually. This freed administrators to work on other essential tasks. Furthermore, to eliminate maintenance costs and reduce dependence on its IT department during the transition, the school opted to have PeopleCube host the software.
