Streamlined Workspace-Management System Offers Scheduling Efficiency and Work Productivity to Global Organizations and Individual Employees
FRAMINGHAM, Massachusetts—November 29, 2011—PeopleCube, provider of intelligent workplace management technology, today announced the latest release of Workspace Manager, which contains capabilities organizations can immediately use to simplify the scheduling and management of desks, rooms, and other resources, as well as reporting functions to support facility managers and other administrators.
“We’ve incorporated intuitive workflow and functionality into Workspace Manager to simplify the scheduling of meeting rooms, shared desks, services, and other resources,” said Simon Wilcox, product manager for the Workspace Manager product line. “The new capabilities and features are designed to improve product administration, facilitate the global deployment of Workspace Manager, and, ultimately, help Workspace Manager customers maximize the utilization of their shared organizational assets.”
Newly available capabilities include a cut-and-paste function for resources, allowing them to be easily moved from one zone or floor to another, and the ability to reference specific service order items, time zones, and user languages in business rules and email notifications. This allows users to create complex localized business rules and email notifications specific to their preferred language and time zones. Another new feature is the ability of the My Bookings function to display reservations that the user has created and also meetings to which they have been invited.
