PeopleCube Exceeds Expectations with Strong Performance in 2010

 Exceptional Customer Retention, Significant Sales and Revenue Growth, and New Technology Advancements Mark a Successful Year for Intelligent Workplace Management Provider

 FRAMINGHAM, Massachusetts—January 25, 2011 PeopleCube, provider of intelligent workplace management, resource management, and energy management technology, today announced a successful 2010, a year in which it saw outstanding growth in sales and subscription service, significant product enhancements, continued “Best-In-Class” customer support and retention, and expanded integration with industry-leading workspace management providers.

“Even as companies struggled to emerge from the recession during 2010, PeopleCube continued to exceed expectations, due in large part to our continued dedication to product development and our commitment to customer satisfaction,” said John T. Anderson, president and CEO of PeopleCube. “Industry-leading firms turned to us to fulfill their workplace management needs because we offer innovative products and services that provide substantial and near-immediate ROI. As a result, we gained more new enterprise customers in 2010 than at any point in our company’s history.”

Highlighting PeopleCube’s success in 2010, the company continued its trend of sustained growth with a revenue increase of 22 percent. Adding more than 160 enterprise accounts, many of which are Fortune 500 organizations, PeopleCube also grew its subscription service by 120 percent.

“PeopleCube has been at the forefront of delivering on-demand software solutions, and now that software-as-a-service has matured, more enterprise companies worldwide chose our subscription-based solutions to help them gain the greatest return possible in the shortest period of time,” said Anderson.

Customers Come First

Another driving factor behind PeopleCube’s sustained growth is its unrelenting dedication to customer satisfaction. In 2010, PeopleCube’s exceptional worldwide customer support and services resulted in a customer retention rate of 96 percent, which exceeds the Aberdeen Group’s Best-In-Class designation for customer satisfaction.

Adding Value Through Technology Advancements, Integration, and Leadership

PeopleCube led the workplace management market in 2010 with ongoing product innovation and integration. Throughout the year, the company’s groundbreaking PeopleCounter occupancy detection solution provided customers with the much-needed actual space utilization information they need to understand how their real estate is being utilized. Using PeopleCounter in conjunction with the workplace business intelligence tool, Workplace BI, customers are able to better monitor, measure, and analyze space-utilization trending information so they can make educated, cost-saving real estate management decisions.

During 2010, PeopleCube launched two new versions of its flagship product, Resource Scheduler, incorporating into it, among numerous other enhancements, a more user-friendly interface and event-management capabilities. The year also brought innovative product integration with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook to further extend the value of these popular calendaring applications. Additionally, partnerships with market leaders Crestron, AMX, Manhattan, Steelcase, and Johnson Controls delivered critical room scheduling, resource management, and energy management capabilities to these complementary workspace management systems.
