Truffle Capital, an investor in Photon Technologies, is a European private equity firm originally set up for investments in spin-offs from companies active in the IT, Energy, and Life Sciences sectors.
- Photon Technologies is a leading French provider of photovoltaic installations targeting both individuals and industrial, agricultural, and public buildings as well as dedicated solar energy plants. Founded in late 2006, Photon Technologies works with EDF Energies Nouvelles to, supply its clients with complete turnkey solar installations, including required components, modules and complete systems, engineering design, technical studies, and installation. Photon Technologies holds a 25% stake in Silicium de Provence, a joint venture for the construction and operation of a plant dedicated to fabricating photovoltaic grade silicon, thus ensuring an end-to-end supply for solar installations.
- Following a €1 million investment by Truffle Capital, Photon Technologies continues to expand its presence in the photovoltaic sector, with more than 20,000 square meters of solar panels installed to date.
