Keyyo investor

Truffle Capital, an investor in Keyyo, is a European private equity firm originally set up for investments in spin-offs from companies active in the IT, Energy, and Life Sciences sectors.

  • Keyyo is a VoIP operator with addressing SMEs and ethnic markets. A pioneer in using the Internet as a communications medium, the company commercialized its first product in 1995. Then operating under the name of Phone Systems & Network, the company was floated on Paris Stock Exchange in 1996, and was a year later acquired by a US based telecom conglomerate which later faltered, paving the way for a successful turnaround led by Truffle Capital in 2006. The company was then renamed Keyyo.
  • Today, Keyyo offers subscription-based telecom services for SMEs, call boutiques, and ethnic groups. The company’s offerings are largely predicated upon new generation voice-over-IP (VOIP) technology.
  • Following a PIPE that consisted of a takeover bid and a recapitalization, Truffle Capital became the main shareholder in Keyyo, which is quoted on the NYSE-Euronext main market (« KEYYYO »)
  • Truffle Capital board members: Bernard-Louis Roques, Mark Bivens
