bureau Truffle Capital investissement

A major independent firm in the European private equity market, Truffle Capital builds and accompanies high-potential companies that are developing disruptive technologies within two business sectors: life sciences and information technology.

The company is run by its three Founding Partners with decades of proven experience in investments and entrepreneurship in Europe and the United States, including Silicon Valley, and is supported by an international team of investment specialists comprising a total workforce of 19.

Truffle Capital specialises in making the best possible use of its sector knowledge, its extensive network and experience to identify growth opportunities for each company given the latent needs of its market, with an end goal of generating high returns for investors.

Truffle Capital currently manages 720 million euros through retail funds (FCPI) as well as institutional funds (FPCI) and has thus created a solid portfolio of innovative and fast growing companies.

Truffle Capital has financed 66 companies, 13 of which are listed on a stock exchange and 34 that have been fully or partially listed.

What we do

At Truffle Capital, we often look to acquire majority holdings to become involved in the strategic decisions in companies of our portfolio. We identify companies whose business or projects contribute to meeting a demand that has yet to be satisfied in their market and that have the potential to develop into high added value companies. Truffle Capital aims at discovering future successes and accompanying them in their development and financial strategy.

On several occasions, we have demonstrated our ability to seize unique investment opportunities throughout Europe and to apply financial planning solutions that allow companies to strategically position themselves within their market.

Co-fondateur Truffle Capital

At Truffle Capital, we associate healthy growth with a low failure rate, as well as a risk management approach with a balanced portfolio and a clear exit strategy.
Thanks to an extensive network of contacts and a targeted investment strategy, we have successfully listed several companies on stock exchanges and completed industrial sales of many others.

Truffle's story

Truffle Capital was founded in 2001 by four partners, of which Henri Moulard, Chairman, Dr Philippe Pouletty, Managing Director and life sciences sector specialist and Bernard-Louis Roques, Managing Director and information technology specialist. Truffle Capital benefits from the experience and expertise of its partners, not only in banking and finance but entrepreneurship too. Through their expertise and recruitment of a qualified team, Truffle Capital funds are financing companies with great potential.

Investment solutions

Truffle Capital develops suited investment solutions for institutional investors (FPCI) as well as individual investors (retail funds (FCPI), holdings, investment mandates); the latter may be proposed by banks, insurance companies and asset management advisors.

Truffle Capital manages 20 retail funds (FCPI), the latest of which is currently open to subscriptions – Truffle InnoCroissance 2015 – as well as four institutional funds (FPCI), including one on behalf of BlackRock and another with the support of Akina in Zurich.
