Founded in 2005, SP3H developed a system based on near infra-red (NIR) technology. The solutions developed by SP3H enable lower fuel consumption, lower pollution and CO2 emissions, the optimisation of reliability performances and engine power. The business is organised around the optimisation of the operation of engines.
The system uses the HydroCarbon Profiler (HCP) proprietary technology that measures the molecular structure of fuel. This method allows the various fuel components to be defined in an innovative way. This information is transmitted to the ECU (engine control unit) allowing real-time optimisation of injection, combustion and post-treatment strategies for all types of petroleum and diesel fuel.
