Caranx Medical announces the signature of an exlusive Worldwide license with Stanford and UC Santa Barbara universities and a €2M financing from Bpifrance

Founded in 2020 by Truffle Capital, Caranx Medical is a MedTech developing the first intelligent and autonomous surgical robot. Its objective is to develop tools to assist the surgeon by integrating augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies.
Caranx Medical achieves two key milestones:
- Signing of an exclusive license for the exploitation of a new technology "everting growing robots" with Stanford University and UC Santa Barbara,
- Obtaining a €2M financing from Bpifrance, as part of the Deeptech program, (3 times more than the average financing obtained in 2020 in the region)
