Carbios strengthens its position as a reference shareholder in its subsidiary Carbiolice
"The acquisition of Limagrain Ingredients’ shareholding in Carbiolice is consistent with our desire to strengthen value creation for our shareholders. The company created by Truffle acquired Limagrain Ingredients' position in Carbiolice, thus increasing its shareholding in the capital of its subsidiray from 52% to 70%. This acquisition will reinforce the creation of value already present at Carbios. Indeed, Carbiolice's technology, Evanesto®, is close to commercial launch. As a reminder, Evanesto® added to plastic of vegetable origin (PLA), makes composting possible and thus constitutes a zero waste solution for certain plastics which by their nature (too thin, too complex to recycle or soiled by food) cannot be recycled.
